251055 - extension disappear from manager after failed install. no error message

After installing some extensions (ie.
http://update.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=82&vid=94&category=Privacy)
often related with cookies.
After I press the "install button" I can see the extension is the manager for
about 1 sec. then it disappers.

Thats it, after restarting firefox. the extension havent been installed

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. goto
http://update.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=82&vid=94&category=Privacy
OR http://extensionroom.mozdev.org/more-info/autoform
(MANY other extension also dont work, offen related to cookies)

2. Press install

3. wait for the countdown so you can press the install button in mozilla
Actual Results:  
the extension will show for about 1 sec in the manager, then disapper

Expected Results:  
the extension should have been installed and asked to restart firefox

unable to reproduce with the latest 0.9 branch builds on winXP, Linux and Mac.
