User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/125.2 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/125.8
Build Identifier: version 0.7+ (20040709)
The search box now seems to leave extra room beyond its right edge, but the actual text input area
overflows it, spilling text into the blank space approaching the edge of the window.
(0.8 trunk build)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Type lots of text into the search box
2. ???
3. Profit!
Actual Results:
Typed text extends beyond the visible edge of the search field.
Expected Results:
The text edit field should be circumscribed by the visible search field.
Default theme; brand new profile. Mac OS X 10.3.4.

I'd also like to fix the drop marker which looks autostretched as part of this
bug.

Scott: Should I create a separate bug for the drop marker fix? Also adding
myself as QA contact.

Two UI issues for this bug:
1) text overflows the text box
2) the drop down marker is getting stretched
Summary: Text overflows search box → OS X UI issues with new quick search box (text overflows text box)
