RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 64336

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040413 Debian/1.6-5
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040413 Debian/1.6-5

In principle, I appreciate getting an alert every time a site attempts to set a
cookie, but it would be more useful still if I only got an alert about
persistent cookies, not about cookies which expire at the end of the current
session.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set up cookie preferences to alert when a cookie is set
2. Visit a site which sets a per-session cookie
3.
Actual Results:
Get an alert.

Expected Results:
Silenty accept if my preferences say so.

Perhaps this could be moved to "Enable cookies based on privacy settings" -- add
an option "Ask" to the set of actions and split columns into per-session and
persistent (this doubles the number of columns so should perhaps be thought
about a bit first).
