User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20021104 Chimera/0.6 Build Identifier: 2004071208 (v0.8+) When the tabindex attribute is set on an input text field or a textarea, clicking in the field places an insertion point at the end of the text. You can't drag to select, double click to select or click anywhere else in the text to place the insertion point. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Load form, click, drag, etc. Actual Results: Normal selection operations don't work. Expected Results: Should be able to select text and place insertion point.

wfm with 0.8final. reporter, are there any other circumstances? does a new profile fix it? wow, you're reporting this with chimera 0.6. Surely a newer build would work better as your daily browser ;)

Surely a newer build would work > better as your daily browser ;) I don't know why it reports like that. I was using the 7/12/04 nightly build to report. No this is the 7/14 build and the fields work properly.
