at the bottom of the above-specified URL page there's a GIF image with "(C) 2004
Advanced Semiconductor Technology etc"; the capital T in "Technology " is
renedered incorrectly.

I believe this is just an effect of the width being compressed in the html:

The original image is 373 pixels wide,  but it is set to display with 
width="372" - so a pixel has to get lost somewhere, and it happens to crop where
the T is
