Second context-menu dosn't work

Details
If you bring up two context-menus in a row the second menu will behave very strange.
Steps to reproduce:
1. rightclick anywhere in a document
2. rightclick again anywhere in the document outside the context-menu that appared.
(note that you shouldn't leftclick to close the first context menu before
opening the second one)
Expected resaults:
A new fully functional contextmenu should appear.
Actual resaults:
A new context menu does appear, but it is not functional:
You cant click (either left- or rightclick) outside the menu to close it.
Nothing in the menu works, but if you left- or rightclick within the menu it closes.
The new menu that appears is a correct one (try rightclicking first on the
background and then on a link) but it dosn't work.
I'm running build 2000-01-25-20 on Win98SE
