Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open web page (tested on bugzilla.mozilla.org) 2. open new tab (ctrl+t) 3. press ctrl+f4 Actual Results: tab remained opened Expected Results: tab should be closed switching back to inital tab and ctrl+f4 closes it.

Might not really be a duplicate, that's a Seamonkey bug. If the fix doesn't fix Firefox, this bug isn't a dupe.
