In the first screen of the Windows Firefox installer says, "...Click Next to continue the Setup program." at the end of the third paragraph. It then very nearly repeats this exact text in the next paragraph when it says "Click Next to continue installing Mozilla Firefox 0.9.0." This redundancy seems a bit, well, redundant.
Created attachment 180991 [details] [diff] [review] Patch Asa, what do you think of this change? I don't even understand what that paragraph was trying to say, so I just trimmed it at "press cancel to quit".
Comment on attachment 180991 [details] [diff] [review] Patch Just having a "Click Cancel to quit Setup." hanging in space is a little misleading. I'd say either remove this string outright -- we really don't need it there, as closing other programs is a bit of a baloney requirement -- or replace it with: "Close any programs you have running, or click Cancel to quit Setup."
this won't be relevant to a new installer.
This is wfm with the new installer that landed - bug 326580 resolving -> wfm
