I really found it nice that a folder has one kind of icon and webpages another
in Netscape 4.7
There are currently no icons in the bookmarks in Mozilla.

Expected:
There should be icons in the bookmarks
Please be more specific. What build are you using? For quite some time now bookmarks have had the little green ribbon. Folders
have of course had the open/closed folder icon as appropriate as well. Imported IE bookmarks feature a little globe icon. All of
these icons appear in the Manage Bookmarks view and in the sidebar, so please define what it is you are talking about.
What I mean is this:
If you copy or migrate your Netscape 4.7 bookmark file over in Mozilla the only
way I can tell that a folder in the bookmarks are a folder are by the little
arrow icon to the right.
In Netscape 4.7 you had an folder icon to the left of the bookmarks.
Ahhh I dont mean in the Manage Bookmarks.
I just mean when you press a item in the "personal toolbar folder" that has
subfolders.
Or when you press Bookmarks to the left in the "personal toolbar folder"
Fix this post beta ...
Priority: P3 → P2
Target Milestone: M15
Weird.. the icons are shown when browsing the bookmarks in the sidebar...:)
Move to M16 for now ...
Target Milestone: M15 → M16
Keywords: nsbeta2
Target Milestone: M16 → M17
I personally don't like the icons on the bookmarks, the look now is much cleaner
to me than the old Netscape way. I hate to say it again, but, possibly a
preference? Or at least a skinable decision.
