While I was attempting to confirm bug 252752, I discovered that Flash 7 is needed for some flash content to work properly.
morphing this to be specific to 10.3.x (Panther), specifically the latest as of this writing (10.3.4). I did a clean install of Panther, then pulled all of the software updates to get to 10.3.4. after installing a firefox build, I checked out about:plugins. a. File name: Default Plugin.plugin Netscape Navigator Default Plug-in b. File name: Java Applet.plugin (located in /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/Java Applet.plugin) Java 1.3.1 Plug-in c. File name: Java Applet Plugin Enabler (located in /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/Java Applet Plugin Enabler) Java 1.3.1 Plug-in (CFM) d. QuickTime Plug-in 6.4 (located in /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/QuickTime Applet.plugin) File name: QuickTime Plugin.plugin e. File name: NP-PPC-Dir-Shockwave (located in /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/NP-PPC-Dir-Shockwave) Macromedia Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in, version 8.5.1 f. File name: Shockwave Flash NP-PPC (located in /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/Shockwave Flash NP-PPC) Shockwave Flash 7.0 r14 I couldn't find the location of (a), unless that's part of the Firefox application package contents. here are additional files located in /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ which could be related here: flashplayer.xpt JavaPluginCocoa.bundle nsIQTScriptablePlugin.xpt
