User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040714 Mnenhy/0.6.0.104 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040714 Mnenhy/0.6.0.104 I searched for the code - but couldn't find it on the search engine. Went in as root and installed - tested fine, when I went to the main user that I log on a strange code started popping up at the bottom of my screen on all (Mozilla browser, email and composer) items opened. Code is <key id="dsLaunch" key="&dsLaunch.key;" oncommand="runDS();" modifiers="accel"/>--^ this also causes preferences to crash the browser Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Log in as main user on linux (not root) 2. Open Mozilla 3. Actual Results: Mozilla first wouldn't open, then it opened extra windows, saying that the default was already in use. Then it gave me this code at the bottom, I attempted to open preferences only to crash the browser. Expected Results: Browser should not have this code at the bottom. It should allow me to access the preferences to change the settings
did attempt to uninstall and reinstall directory. it simply gave me the same error message each time Mozilla was opened as the primary non root user.
If you write "about:config" in the URL-bar and search for this: user_pref("xul.debug.box" Any results? Is it set to "true"?
Summary: Error code at bottle of the screen → Error code at bottom of the screen
where did you get your mozilla from? it seems like an extension you have installed is incompatible with your version of mozilla. which extensions do you ahve installed, other than mnenhy?
downloaded the Mozilla from the Mozilla website as for extensions - cards, I attempted to update the live journal blogger for this but it gave me an error code. And same with dictionary.
also installed: Quote colors, multizilla, and chrome (I think I uninstalled this one to get the preferences to work).
since dsLaunch is nowhere to be found in the mozilla source code, this is due to one of the extensions. complain to the author of the right one. reopen if you can reproduce in a build w/o extensions.
