User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4u; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040723 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4u; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040723 Somewhere between 1.8a1 and 1.8a2, the composer broke on Solaris (my own builds with Sun Studio). The editor window comes up, and has toolbars, status bar, tabs at the bottom, but the main pane (where the actual text editor should be) is just blank white, for all four tabs. It works with 1.8a1 but not 1.8a2 or current CVS trunk, all from the same build environment. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Control-Shift-N OR 1. Browse to an HTML page 2. Control-E
Curiously, composer appears to work ok if I build with debug on and optimisation off (probably affected more by the latter). I'm building with Sun Studio 9 with --enable-optimize="-fast -xtarget=ultra2" Roland .. are you seeing this problem?
