User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040707 Firefox/0.9.2

bookmark bar disappears, firefox becomes unresponsive randomly. After some time
I can type an address in the address bar but the site does not appear. After I
reinstall firefox, everything works fine - bookmark bar is restored, bookmarks
are restored in they were earlier. This can happen a few times a day.
Reinstallation fixes everything.
Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce
Steps to Reproduce:
Happens randomly. Can't think of anything I did on each occasion that may have
caused it.
I have screenshots of "before" and "after", I don't know how to submit.

Upon starting the Firefox becomes unresponsive. The bookmarks toolbar is empty,
the menus are not accesible. The home page (empty) is not displayed.
On the other hand, the context menu is available, both in the web rendering area
and on the menus. Clicking on the Firefox-Home button starts action that looks
like loading of a wab page but it changes only the window title. View page
source displays corresponding HTML data. Updates-Avialble button do not
dissapear (is should), and works. Cliking on drop-down icon of the search
toolbar brings the avable search engines list on the upper left corner of the
Firefox main window (on top of the menus).
Upon exit, Firefox asks for confirmation on closing 2 tabs. Apparently, the
Firefix-Home button, opened a tab which was not visible.
Statistically, the Firefox starts without problems every 5 tries. When loaded
correctly, all bookmarks are displayed and browser works OK. I first observed
this behaviour after update to 1.0.3.
Reboot does not help. I did not yet reinstalled the browser. Working on Windows
XP Home.
Similar problem:
Firefox works fine for some starts. Then Bookmarks-entry don't show
up anymore in the menu and Address-Bar doesn't react
anymore for enter-key. If it's worse, all menus won't pop up
anymore. After reinistallatoin everything works fine again
for some startups.

I will verify that happens to me also. I will lose the bookmark toolbar and have to resize Fx to get the bar and bookmarks back. This started happening around 20050915 on the Pacifica Aviary builds.
Currently I am running:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20051021 Firefox/1.0.7
I have tried new Profiles and that will not fix the issue. It is more of an annoyance then anything else having to resize the browser from time to time to get the Bookmarks Toolbar back.

WFM Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b5) Gecko/20051024 Firefox/1.5
The 1.0.x product line won't likely receive any functional updates anytime soon.
Can anyone confirm this under the latest build of the 1.5 branch?

And note that *this bug* is about the browser generally becoming unresponsive, including not displaying the bookmarks toolbar, not just the "need to resize to get the bookmarks bar back from the chevron" of comment 6, which is bug 266737.
