Doctor should allow you to preview what the changes will do for the page. Before
you the diff, doctor should show you a preview of the page.

ooof.  Nice idea, but that'd be a pain in the butt to implement, since what
you're editing in most cases isn't actually the final source, but only used to
generate it.  We'd have to find some way to tie in the wrapper script to get it
to compile it the way it will when it goes on the site, which probably wouldn't
be easy.

votes are a product-specific feature, and this product isn't set up for it.

There's talk about trying to convert the site to use Template Toolkit for the
wrapper scripts instead of our homegrown perl hack.  If that even happens, it
will probably get much easier to create a preview.
