right-click in bookmarks drop-down does not display context menu

Right-clicking in the bookmarks drop down displays a small, button looking
graphic instead of a context menu. The bookmarks menu for that browswer
instance will not respond to clicks until the menu is closed and re-opened.
Even then Imported IE favorites remains disabled.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Left-click the bookmarks menu button to drop down the bookmarks list.
2. Right-click in the list.
3.
Actual Results:
A small command button looking object appears at the mouse cursor.
The bookmarks list doesnot respond to clicks.
Expected Results:
I expected to see a context menu.

I can confirm this on my Gentoo/linux box. Firefox will not behave properly
until it has been restarted

Most probably a dupe of bug 246158. However I think I've seen at least one other
bug which causes this.
