User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040616
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040714
Mozilla 1.7.1 and 1.8a3 were working ok. I had to install an MS patch (MSXML)
to get an Excel file to work ok (IBM xSeries configurator). Now both versions of
Mozilla crash as soon as I hit the Compose button. Apart from this they work ok.
Dr Watson shows in it's log that the problem is:
Application exception occurred:
App: mozilla.exe (pid=808)
When: 8/3/2004 @ 16:27:41.169
Exception number: c0000005 (access violation)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Reboot windows
2. Start Mozilla as a non priv user
3. Open the Mail window
4. Click Compose
Actual Results:
CRASH.
The Moz feedback agent triggered. I filed a report.

Andrew: Could you provide TalkBack incident ID?

Sorry. I have no idea how to find out the Talkback id after it has already been
sent.
Don't know if this helps, but I played around with the debug options in 1.8a3
and found that (under pref menu Debug->Networking) disabling the XUL cache
allows the compose window to be drawn, but that the menus of the resulting
window are missing. See attachment.
Give me an idea how to be able to view the feedback agent in the occurance of a
crash and I will get the resulting id number.

Andrew: To get the Talkback ID's go to your Mozilla directory and go to
components/, there start talkback.exe, it'll give you a list with the IDs.
Thank's a lot.

bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.
While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
