No feedback when you drag a splitter into content

Examples I've seen of this are
1) in the main mail window -- if you try to expand the header view area into the
message display, you lose the splitter, even though the resize works.
2) The address book window -- dragging the splitter down into the individual
card view.
3) The sidebar -- dragging the splitter right into the main content view or
left across and open panel.

If you're talking about the splitter disappearing during the drag, then this bug
is a dup. If not, please reopen with steps to reproduce, because I see it
reappear after the drag.
