Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; hu-HU; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040616
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; hu-HU; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040616

I use my machine as many times, so I don't shutdown it day to day.
The corporation that I working in has a DNS problem (3 days).
I many times change my network properties (gateway).
Yesterday we can up the correct DNS, but in the mailer two accounts are don't
get the mails. I try to set up IP address for servers (not url), but it is not
working.
When I reset to urls, nothing is happening.
I think that Mozilla is not forget the connection parameters (gateway, etc.),
and everytime it is trying to connect with them, but have been failed.
In web mail I saw that mails are incoming. In Opera, what I opened as same time
like Mozilla (so it is "on" also) I can read my emails from that two accounts.
But Mozilla is not see the mails on them.
When I restart Mozilla completely, the problem is vanished, so bug is placed in
connection handling...

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Wrong DNS needed
2. Many times change your gatway parameters
3. Change the pop3 server url to ip, and ip to url
4. Let the machine open more than 2 days
5. You cannot read the mails

Actual Results:
Mails are not incoming. But I not get errors like "cannot connect to mail
server", or etc., but I see that I have no more mails.
Sounds like bug 173924. Marking as duplicate.
If disagree, please reopen and clarify why.
