WFM Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040803 Firefox/0.9.1+ Might be a fonts issue on your machine. What font is it using for monospace? Do you have a bold version of that font installed?
It does seem to be a fonts problem on my machine. The monospace font is set to monospace, which does not seem to show bold in the fonts previewer. I've changed the font to Courier New (which is what Firefox on Windows chooses as default) and now it works as expected. Thanks for your help.
