mozilla do not mark emails i replied as replied

Steps to Reproduce:

the email is marked as read

This works for me also.  However, bug 128996 notes that if the reply has been 
saved as a draft, then re-edited and sent on, the status is not updated.  (A 
similar problem for using Send Later on the reply has been fixed.)

Christian Vlah, if your problem is specifically for messages that have been 
saved as a draft, please mark this bug as duplicate of that one.  Otherwise, 
please provide more information on how to duplicate this problem.

my problem is, all mails i replied are not marked as replied. they are marked as
read but not as replied. i think in the past replied mails had a special icon.

Yes, but that must have been longer ago i think (currently there is no such
icon, there is only the status column, where the replied status is noticed).
Have you tried deleting your *.msf files, maybe this helps (also normally the
replied status is stored under X-Mozilla-Status: in the Inbox file and not in
the Inbox.msf file).

ok, my status column wasnt visible. now i can see the status and its ok. i think
some mozilla update changed the columns state to 'invisible'. so i never noticed
that is was missing until now :-(

Reopening to change resolution.  Christian, please use "WorksForMe" unless you 
can specifically identify a patch that fixed your problem.

Status column is not normally visible.  Mozilla does support special icons for 
Replied and Forwarded, but the theme needs to provide it.  I'm using the Pinball 
theme, which has those icons defined.
