User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/3.2; Linux) (KHTML, like Gecko) Build Identifier: about Mozilla is blank 1.7.x in FC2 AMD64 version since the up2date of mozilla 1.7. on Fedora Core 2 is not working, tried installer fresh from mozilla. ./mozilla-installer ./mozilla-installer-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-1.2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. download installer 2. untar installer 3. cd to directory 4. ./mozilla-installer 5 ERROR SHOWN Actual Results: ./mozilla-installer ./mozilla-installer-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-1.2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Expected Results: install mozilla i realize FC2 amd64 is not that popular and it might be a problem on my end, but having a real difficulty just reading and not sending email from mozilla, but email system of choice... sorry if this is not very technical, i'm used to it just working... epiphany also crashes on this up2date, which i understand is mozilla based too...
You need to install gtk+ 1.2.0 (1.2.5 or greater preferred) to get the installer/Mozilla working, also see http://www.mozilla.org/products/mozilla1.x/sysreq.html -->invalid
