Create a barebones Activex control in vb that just says hello world or
something (i can provide one if needed). put it on a webpage and open in
mozilla using adam locke's plugin. either the activex object crashes or the
plugin will not run it correctly (i cant determine which). The activex
controls i create with Delphi 7 have no problem running in the plugin though.
I think since MS is the mother of activex, then the plugin should run controls
created with VB. Maybe the plugin isnt initializing the interfaces correctly
or something? i know commercial MS controls run fine like the calendar control
but they werent created with VB to my knowledge.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. create and activex control in VB6
2. insert into web page and open in mozilla
Actual Results:
Run-time error '-2147467259 (80004005)':
System Error &H80004005 (-2147467259). Unspecified error
This is being reported from my activex control being run buy the plug-in
Expected Results:
It should have run. I fi build a barebones activex control in delphi 7 it
works fine.
