User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.2) Gecko/20040803 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.2) Gecko/20040803 had a crash, some msf files were damaged. i deleted them, started mozilla again and i still couldn't see any messages in the folders. msf files were recreated but they didn't contain the old messages, only the new ones that arrived after. tried a few times and it didn't work. installed 1.7.2 and now it's okay. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
could you try a more recent trunk build? What 1.8a2 build date was this?
the installer was: mozilla-win32-1.8a2-installer.exe 12.550.304 bytes
this works for me, so I believe this has been fixed in recent trunk builds.
Feel free to reopen the bug if the problem persists with current trunk builds.
