the right side pane at the above URL is place too far off to the right when
browsing with a lower resolution window.  this causes the user to have to scroll
left and right to see article text.  doesn't happen with a similarly sized IE
browser window.

Not tech evang.

The problem here is that there's a big long url at the bottom of the page. It
doesn't have any whitespace, so we don't break it. Since tech evang. is only for
when someone's using proprietary markup or the like, this doesn't belong here.
Since it's not a bug in Mozilla either, I'm marking it invalid.

ok... if it isn't a tech evangelism bug, i think it is a layout bug.

changing summary from:
axisoflogic.com - bad side pane layout
to:
mozilla should wrap long URLs to avoid a horizontally scrollable window

it's obvious that the web developer wanted the layout to look as it does in IE.
 would we be breaking standards by wrapping ridiculously long URLs?

i tried to reassign to the component owner, but got:
You tried to change the Status field from UNCONFIRMED to NEW, but only the owner
or submitter of the bug, or a sufficiently empowered user, may change that field.

guess somebody else will have to do that...
