Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040714 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040714 I do not get the white box at upper right of message viewer that shows attachments in some messages viewed on an IMAP server. My server supports both IMAP and pop3 modes. Same message viewed in pop3 mode is fine. It depends on which client made the message. Messages composed with Mozilla, Outlook express, and Bat clients are fine. Messages composed in Yahoo webmail or in mail2web do not show the attachments. I can always see these attachments if I use mail2web webmail, outlook express, or the bat mail clients Note this problem exists in moz 1.6 moz 1.7 and current thunderbird as well It might have s/t to do with the string a the client uses to mark where the attachment begins. I have looked at this a bit but do not have anymore time Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. send mail to self from mozilla mail client- view in mozilla Imap mode- ok 2. send mail to self from yahoo webmail client- view in mozilla Imap mode- not ok 3. send mail to self from web2mail.com mail client- view in mozilla Imap mode- not ok 4, View these messages wiht mail2web client, bat, outlook and all attachments are available Actual Results: If mail was made in yahoo webmail or in mail2web clients, I do not have the box on the upper left that shows the attachment in Mozilla IMAP mail - ok if message viewed with pop3 protocol If mail was made in mozilla or the bat clients, I do have the box on the upper left that shows the attachment Expected Results: IMAP mail message viewer should have white box on upper right to show attachments in mail generated wiht all clients

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter. I could confirm the same behaviour with Thunderbird 1.5b. Please, merge this bug into #255488, it seems to be the same one. It also depends on the IMAP server, whether the bad unexpected IMAP behaviour occurs, Create an account at web.de and confirm.
