If I try to log-in to Wikipedia, Firefox crashes. I have experienced this with
0.9 and 0.9.1., both official builds downloaded from mozilla.org. It may be
related to  bug #241906(dupes:251200,251785,255450), as it is also a crash where
saved logins/passwords are on the same page as other input fields. This crash
does not occur if I delete the saved passwords, likewise for the other bugs
cited here.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to http://www.wikipedia.org
2.Click "Create an account or log in" at the top-right of the page.(you must
have previously-saved passwords for this site)

Actual Results:  
Firefox crashes, and if I close the window I am now unable to open a new
instance of Firefox unless I "killall firefox-bin"

Expected Results:  
Opened the page to let me log in.

Now that I have deleted my saved Wikipedia password, Firefox no longer offers to
save my password on Wikipedia(as stated in bug #217690), is this a work-around
implemented by the Firefox devs until the problem can be fixed? Are they
therefore already aware of this?

I would presume the official builds are talkback-enabled, but nothing comes up
when it crashses. I can't find anything in the preferences, how do I turn
talkback on?

This happened to me too, with Firefox/0.9.1 on Windows 98. Firefox didn't crash,
but became totally non-responsive, and I had to force-kill it.
I reproduced this several times (100% consistently), before I saw this bug
report and realized it was related to the password manager.

After deleting the saved password from the password manager, the problem
disappeared (but like Allister, I'm not prompted to save the password when I
login to Wikipedia - therefore I can't reproduce this any more).

By "crashed", that is what I meant: it stopped responding entirely, but remained
open.

Also happening in Mozilla 1.8a2 Build 2004071405.

Can it be related to the very large number of character sets and fonts used by
the wikipedia front page?

Unlike some other comments, by "crashed" I mean crashed, disappeared, gone away
leaving me with a blank screen.

unable to reproduce with the latest branch nightly builds on windows XP or FC3.
Please renominate if you can get this confirmed with a stack trace or a talkback
ID.

Are the latest nightlies still affected? This is filed on an old build and has
not been confirmed.
