The Firefox is unable to access any http server running at TCP port 6000 by
default. It should be either possible to enable it in the preferences, or
enabled by default.

see bug 107444 comment 1 for a pref to override this. Given it's disabled for
security reasons, I don't think there will ever be a GUI for this.
