Can not connect to smtp password not validated. Correct password provided but
"Password required" windows keep on coming back. 

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install New program Thunderbird 0.7
2. Create Account Info
3. Create new message
4. Click on send

Actual Results:  
The password box comes up with blank box for password.
I fill the correct password and submit.
It comes Back and back until I click cancel and get smpt error message.

Expected Results:  
sent the message

I have exactly the same problem with Thunderbird 1.0.2, with just one IMAP
account (all my POP accounts are fine). I've tried everything suggested in 
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Thunderbird_:_Issues_:_Cannot_Send_Mail but to no avail.
