User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a3) Gecko/20040818 Firefox/0.9.1+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8a3) Gecko/20040818 Firefox/0.9.1+ I use Firefox 0.9 GTK2+XFT on Fedora Core 2 (GNOME 2.6) and I find that operating the drop down lists in Firefox with the keyboard does not respond correctly. Typically moving up and down through the list with the up and down arrow keys results in jumping two entries at a time. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: An example of an affected drop down list: 1. Select "Bookmark This Page..." from the Bookmarks menu. 2. Press Alt+C to move the focus to the "Create in" drop down list. 3. Press Alt+Down Arrow to drop the list down. 4. Press the Down (or Up) Arrow key to navigate through the items. Actual Results: The item selection highlight bar jumps two items at a time. If you only have an even number of items you can never navigate to the items at odd positions. Expected Results: The selection should move through the items one at a time. This also seems to affect Thunderbird 0.7.1.
I've retested this issue with Firefox Preview Release 1 (and Thunderbird 0.8) and can no longer reproduce it. As the only reported of this issue I guess it can be closed.
