To reproduce 1 start up mozilla 2 go to mail/news 3 start to setup a new account 4 type some text in one of the textfields like "your name" 5 now try and move the cursor backwards by pressing the left arrow cursor key What should happen: The cursor carret show move to the left, one caharcter per keystroke What does happen: The cursor carrot does not move Tested on 2 machines with: * Windows 98 * Mozilla M13 windows32 with fullcircle
This does work on Macintosh; however I do notice another bug which I will file about right arrow causing the caret to disappear

Hmmm. Nothing I did should have broken this. Will look into it though.

This works fine for me on Windows 98 also.

This does not work for me :-\ but I have made a mistake, I meant the textfields in the "create new account Wizard" sorry for the mistake

It is also a problem at my work on a NT4sp6 machine
This is fixed in the current builds... it's broken in M13 only.

verified in 2/1 build....works fine for me....if still doesn't work for you please reopen.

It works for me too, on both the computers I had the problem :-) so I would consider this fixed and verified.
