User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; cs-CZ; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040803 Firefox/0.9.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; cs-CZ; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040803 Firefox/0.9.3 In the about: page of Firefox 0.9.3 is bad version "Firefox 1.7" It is because of the code: document.getElementById("mozlink").firstChild.appendData(navigator.userAgent.match(/rv:([^;)]+)/)[1]); which extract from the UA-string e.g.: "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; cs-CZ; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040803 Firefox/0.9.3" the "1.7" version. You can change the regexp or change to string to the "Firefox based on Mozilla 1.7". Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
