User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.2) Gecko/20040803
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040628 Firefox/0.9.1

I'm working on a community site at worldofryzom.com and its vBulletin. Browswer
works fine surfing the site, but freezes quite often when working in the
administration section. vBulletin is Javascript based in Frames.

Firefox freezes meaning no buttons work, tabs can still be cycled but are stuck
on the pages they were at. Quiteing is nescesary and sometimes I need to
ForceQuite the App.

It varies as to how long i can work before FireFox crashes, but it always does
in the end(eventually). This usually happens in the 'add page' dialog frame.

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.I log into the admin panel of vBulletin
2.start working, adding web pages etc.
3.eventually FireFox freezes needing to be quite or forced-quite
3.5. -usually in the 'add page' dialog frame
Actual Results:
Froze

Expected Results:
not froze

this may be a javascript issue, when i tried Safari it so far has not had this
problem(more testing needed)
If you could submit a testpage or a link, we'd be able to confirm whether or not
this is a bug. As it is, it's fairly impossible to sort out what's causing the
freeze. It would also help if you could narrow down a specific page or exact
steps to reproduce the freeze consistently.

Ok. This is definitely a Javascript bug. It happens in Mozzila 1.7.2 too. But
Safari handles the buttons and inner-javascript-popup windows fine.
Sorry I can't provide access to the page since it's not my site.

more specific steps:
1.in vBulletin's Admin. control Panel
2. under the 'vBa CMPS' menu go to 'Edit Pages'
3. this is the page that freezes the browser,
4. choose to edit a a custom Page template's setings using the buttons
5. FireFox and Mozzilla freeze here about 90% of the time
Whereas Safari handles the various windows and buttons no problem.
Is it possible to save the page using Save Page As... and reproduce using that
file (or multiple files)? If so, you could attach them here as a testcase. Try
and get as minimal of a testcase as possible.

Just thought I'd mention that the CMPS isn't produced by Jelsoft but by a 3rd
party. I'll have a look at the source later and see If i can track down whats
causing the hang.
This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01".

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
Thank you for your help in this matter.
