256777 - drag and drop of RSS urls to Thunderbird (into folder pane) is fussy

found using recent aviary1.0 branch builds (eg, 2004082404-0.8) on linux fedora
core 1 and core 2. not a problem on Mac or Windows.

I cannot seem to drag and drop RSS links onto an RSS account or an RSS
subscription. (it worked only once, but fails for the vast majority of my attempts.)

1. have a web browser window open (I use Firefox) to a page containing RSS
links. here are some:

http://www.livejournal.com/stats/latest-rss.bml

2. drag the link and attempt to drop it on either the RSS account or an RSS
subscription folder (both in the folder pane of the main tbird window).

results: I don't see any highlighting/activation feedback on the target,
denoting that it can receive a dragged object.

3. release the mouse to drop the dragged link anyhow.

results: nothing happens (no RSS feed is added).

Using version 0.7+ (20040830) on Mac, for the most part I am able to drag and
drop with no problem. However, I have encountered instances where I was unable
to add any Yahoo RSS feeds. I restarted Thunderbird, and then was able to drag
and drop the Yahoo feeds with no problem.  I will try to observe the behavior
further on the Mac and report back.

even though this is still an issue using 2005031106-1.0.2 bits (on fc3), I
should note that dragging and dropping an RSS link into the News Feed Properties
(to Add a feed) *does* work --specifically dropping it into the Feed URL textfield.

Seeing this on Windows with Thunderbird 1.5rc2. Fails with Mozilla, Firefox and IE.

It works fine on Mac dragging from Camino to Tbird. Safari doesn't work: bug 272473

Removing wanted flags because there's no good testcase as far as I understand this bug.  Adding qawanted.
