User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.1) Gecko/20040707 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.1) Gecko/20040707 I wish to rollout Mozilla 1.7.2 on my Windows Domain controlled network. There is currently no method nor any mention of any attempts or research in this area. I find it sad that such a great product cannot be distributed and maintained with the ease of Internet Explorer. I hope to move everyone on the network over to mozilla or firefox during the next 6 months but I can only do so if a method to distribute it is discovered. On a side note when I am setting the cookie preferences and double click on the bullet next to the 90 day deletion setting it is common for the mozilla preferences box to crash and the ok button becomes useless. I just click cancel and repeat the preferences configuration over again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. I need a way to streamline the configuration of mozilla for the end user including the theme and the homepage so that users on the lan do not have to worry about how to put the go button on the toolbar. 2. I also need a method to remotely upgrade the software should a patch be released as no one wants an old version of software which would be prone to malicous attack. 3.
My administrator does this with the installer (remote executed by a commercial product). You can have a non-dialog version of the installer with the -ms option. It's probably a dupe of bug 52052.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.
