User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040614 Firefox/0.9
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040614 Firefox/0.9
Closing groups of Firefox windows, each having multiple tabs open, messes up. First one window presents its "Close all tabs?" dialog box, but after "yes" to that, various windows seem to continuously cycle, with that dialog box, or
corrupt (e.g. blank) dialog boxes, or just menu-bar-flashing.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.open 2 windows, and in each window open a second window as a tab.
2.select both windows (ctrl-click)
3.right-click and select Windows-XP "close group" function
4.If "close all tabs?" box appears, click yes.
Actual Results:
odd behaviors such as blank dialog boxes, continuous cycling between windows, and other things.
Expected Results:
Close the windows.

Confirmed with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7)
Gecko/20040803 Firefox/0.9.3.
This does not happen with the 0.9.1 release. Requesting blocking-aviary1.0.

I'm not sure if can reproduce this. Is it because I'm running xp sp2?

I think this only happens when you're closing the last two windows (ie shutting
down the program). I'm sort of having a hard time reproducing it now. It
happened once, but a few times, the taskbar icons would just flash back and
forth (because they both want focus because of the dialog box). Sometimes,
clicking "Close All Tabs" in one window would not close it until you do the same
in the other window. Other times I would see the blank dialog box after the
first "Close all tabs" warning.
Further testing is needed I guess.

I tried the repro steps I gave above on my current machine (FF 3.0.1, Vista(sigh)) and did not see the problem. I have no objection to closing this.
