Steps to Reproduce:
1. find an entry on which to comment
2. enter the special characters
3. select preview comment

Actual Results:  
All that showed were vertical or horizontal lines, almost like the pipe character.

Expected Results:  
The proper character display should be black playing card suit symbols.
