User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.2) Gecko/20040803 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.2) Gecko/20040803 When only the calendar window is left you can not get back to any browser, mail or whatever. The "quick access" in the lower left corner of the status bar are missing, also the possibility to choose a component via the "Tools" menu. Using TB 0.9.3 and Calendar 2004080916. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the Mozilla application you installed the Calendar in. 2. Open a browser (suite/ff) or a mail directory (suite/tb) window. 3. Open a calendar window. 4. Close all non-calendar windows. 5. Try to access a browser or mail directory window. Actual Results: No possibility to reach another component. Expected Results: Possibility to access another component via the "quick access" part of the lower left status bar or the "Tools" menu. Btw TB (and maybe FF) is missing the "quick access" part of the lower left status bar too.

This an enhancement, please update the severity option. I think this should be dealt with before the next release though.

imo it is an enhancement, yes, but of "normal" severity, since it causes the users application to be left unaccessable. Marking new, OS/Hardware All

Hi, IMHO this is important as it damages the "suite" image/perception of users :( The mozilla suite hotkeys (ctrl+1 for browser etc) are a very important tool for efficient suit usage, concerning especially power users - which are an interesing target group for Calendar and Mozilla, as they might contribute. 2 Examples to support my "thesis": When being in Calendar and seeing an event, I might wanna mail to someone a "postpone meeting" message. I expect that pressing Ctrl+M allows me to do so, just like everywhere else - but it does not work. OK, so I'll switch to messenger by Ctrl+2. Oh no, does not work neither. I'll have to use Alt+Tab, look for the messenger icon and scroll trough all open apps. Nasty. Ctrl+N opens a new navigator/browser window in all parts of the suite, but in Calendar. IMHO this _extremely_ known hotkey shall not be broken. I propose ctrl+e with e for "new _E_vent", just like ctrl+m for "new _M_essage" and ctrl+n for "new _N_avigator window". Also change the access key in "menu - file - new event" to alt+e" to keep on having one consistent key. I hope you can empathise a little better now. At least to me it is extremely disturbing as all other parts of the suite work like that, so I'm repeatingly behaving "wrong".... :-( Tell me where I can see how the hotkeys, status bar icons and menu entries are done in other mozilla parts and I'll do my best to adapt it to calendar. (also personal mail to mozilla@schoschi.de, please :-) Georg
