User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.2) Gecko/20040803 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (WindowsXP click on "start emulator" 30 min. timeout-click "ok" Login name: lineup password: crew They upgraded the security on their java, I used to get a mainframe emulator applet before the upgrade, now it won't load. I can get it to load with Netscape Communicator 4.8 and with IE. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.click on "start emulator" 2.30 min. timeout-click "ok" 3.login name: lineup 4.password: crew Actual Results: Java applet won't load Expected Results: should load a java applet for mainframe emulation, it used to load but bnsf.com upgraded the security on their java, now it won't load. they cover some faq about the problem on their site, but mozilla isn't one of their supported browsers, so they don't have any info about Moz. I can get the applet to load with Netscape Communicator 4.8 and with IE.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8a3) Gecko/20040828 Sun JRE 1.5.0 beta2 I opened the Java console, to see what was going on. Dump classloader list ... codebase=http://www2.bnsf.com:8200/, key=http://www2.bnsf.com:8200/,ns-E3270T.jar, zombie=false, cache=true, refcount=1, info=sun.plugin.ClassLoaderInfo@a1d1f4 Done. After the 519 kb sized applet was downloaded, a Mozilla security Dialog popped up, about an invalid certificate. I accepted it and then the Java Console gave an error message: Sun Microsystems Inc. oc.wcFN.SunSec@9238ca urlBase=http://www2.bnsf.com:8200/ fileAccessUrl=http://www2.bnsf.com:8200/file/access.txt? java.lang.SecurityException: class "oc.wcFN.fh"'s signer information does not match signer information of other classes in the same package at java.lang.ClassLoader.checkCerts(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.preDefineClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(Unknown Source) at java.security.SecureClassLoader.defineClass(Unknown Source) at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at sun.applet.AppletClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClassInternal(Unknown Source) at oc.wcFN.c.<init>([DashoPro-V1.2-120198]) at oc.wcFN.WebConnect.p([DashoPro-V1.2-120198]) at oc.wcFN.WebConnect.run([DashoPro-V1.2-120198]) at oc.wcFN.WebConnect.o([DashoPro-V1.2-120198]) at oc.wcFN.WebConnect.init([DashoPro-V1.2-120198]) at sun.applet.AppletPanel.run(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source) After downloading the applet ns-E3270T.jar I unzipped it, all files are having the date April 15th, 1999 17h16, so I believe its an old version for Netscape 4.x, not upgraded.
