User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 I have a text file that contains emails, one per line, that I want to make a list in thunderbird. When I try to copy and paste it in, the newlines get turned into commas, and the whole list gets entered on the first line. When I click OK and then bring up the list editing window again, only the first email is actually entered into the list. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create a new list 2.Paste a newline separated list of emails into the box 3.click okay 4.edit the list again Actual Results: after step 2: the emails get separated by commas instead of creating a new line for each one after step 4: only the first email in the comma separated list remains entered in the list Expected Results: Pasting a newline separated list of emails into the list creation should generate a new entry for each line.

The same happens on Thunderbird 0.7.3 on Windows XP. It would be really *great* to get this fixed. Any progress reports? Julian Orange
