workaround: Right-click on Personal Toolbar, where you want to create a new folder Select from the menu New Folder... give it a name drag bookmark to this folder and drop it. The folder doesn´t open as long it is empty, after dropping the bookmark it should show the bookmark if you click on the folder. If this doesn´t work, you´ve got one more reason to upgrade to a current Mozilla ;-)

I think you got me wrong - I wanted a possibilty to have "Bookmark this Page" Entry in a Boorkmark folder - so that i can directly add a bookmark to a Folder without having to move it. I know i can also add a new folder by right clicking (at least with a working version of mozilla doesnt work with the one i am using right now).

I still don´t understand what could be done with one click only. You are talking in you initial Steps to Reproduce about creating new folders, moving them to the PT, adding and dragging the bookmark. I don´t understand, if it is added, why does it need to be dragged? I would do Step 3: select Personal Toolbar Folder Step 4: click 'New Folder' This would create the new folder as last item in the P.T. I prefer creating new folders in the Bookmark Manager. If I want to add folders to a crowded folder, I create them in some other nearly empty folder, and drag from there, to avoid the dragging of the bookmarks from bottom to top in large folders. Could you reproduce my workaround? You can drag&drop a bookmark into an empty folder, though the folder is not opening, shows only a small square, when it is empty.

i want not to have to drag the bookmark at all - thats what i meant by submitting this feature request - i would like to have a "bookmark this page" menu point directly in my new bookmark folder so that i can directly add bookmarks to this folder.
