I wanted to suggest expanding the command line options to open mozilla, run
maintenance operations, and then close.  The idea would be to set up a scheduler
to run mozilla at off times to perform periodic maintenance.  Maintenance
options could includ things like include emptying mail trash, compacting mail
folders, clearing history, clearing cache, perhaps even clearing cookies.
