Favicons on the bookmarks toolbar and the bookmarks pull-down menu disappear,
requiring viewing of the site again to show the favicon again.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Bookmark a site with a favicon such as www.yahoo.com
2. Get Firefox to crash (Windows)
3. Run Firefox again

Actual Results:  
Favicons dissappear from bookmarks

Expected Results:  
Keep the favicons in the bookmarks

fixed in current nightlies, please test on current builds only

Confirming fixed on branch in latest nighlies.
I couldn't find a bug# for it but I'm sure I've seen the entry somewhere/sometime.
