It currently adds the bookmarks -after- the selected folder, which doesn't make sense. If I wanted this functionality, I could simply highlight the parent folder. Now, I have to add the bookmarks to the very end of the list trying to keep them separated from my current bookmarks, and then move them all into the new folder. This extra step seems unnecessary. sorry for bugspam, long-overdue mass reassign of ancient QA contact bugs, filter on "beltznerLovesGoats" to get rid of this mass change

Summary: [RFE] Imported bookmarks should be placed in selected folder → Allow to import bookmarks into a selected folder
I think this is not just an enhancement but a serious problem. Imagine you have 500 bookmarks and you import 100 new ones. As they are imported into the root of the hierarchy, you cannot distinguish which are the old and the new ones.
Consolidating bookmark import location requests into one bug - bug 1431376.
