User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.2) Gecko/20040803 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.2) Gecko/20040803 I am running Windows XP SP2, so all the MS apps included are current. When I use Tools\Import\Mail\Outlook Express, Mozilla displays a message that says 7 messages were imported from the inbox and 2 messages were imported from deleted messages. However, subsequently I cannot find the messages that were supposedly imported. At first I thought that maybe they would not show because some that were in the Outlook Express inbox were actually already present in the Mozilla inbox or in "subfolders". So I made sure that some unique messages were ONLY in the Outlook Express inbox, etc., and tried again, but they were not imported. As suggested in the additional comments for Bug #236263, I made Outlook Express the default e-mail application, removed that designation for Mozilla Mail, exited both applications, then ran Mozilla Mail and performed the import again, but nothing was actually imported -- i.e. I cannot see any message that was in the Outlook Express inbox but not already in the Mozilla inbox. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.use the Tools\Import\Mail\Outlook Express feature 2.try to find the messages that were supposedly imported 3. (see also the detailed description) Actual Results: as described in Details Expected Results: Mozilla should display the imported messages -- even, perhaps, if they are duplicates of messages that Mozilla already has on record. Well, it seems I've found another bug. Namely, when I use about:buildconfig in the URL bar to display the data, then highlight and copy it to the clipboard, and attempt to paste it into this field, nothing happens. (No way am I going to laboriously copy all of that data by hand onto paper just so that I can enter it into this field!)
Do you build yourself? If yes, do you build with MinGW?
Summary: Import Mail from Outlook Express fails → Import Mail from Outlook Express fails
--> invalid cleared by mail, the mails were imported in Local Folders and not as thought in the default mail account.
