when creating a new event and attempting to have it repeat, clicking on the
'recurrence' tab and selecting 'repeat every' the pulldown, no matter what's
selected, reverts to week.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open calendar
2. right click date in 'month' view
3. click 'new event'
4. select 'recurrence'
5. check 'repeat every'
6. change pulldown option to 'month' (or 'day', or 'year')

Actual Results:  
pulldown reverted to 'week'

Expected Results:  
pulldown should have shown the originally selected option
