User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.0.3705; .NET CLR 1.1.4322) Build Identifier: version 0.7.3 (20040803) My IMAP provider automatically uses a folder called 'Sent Items' for copies of sent messages, Thunderbird continues to use the 'Sent' folder for copies of saved messages. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. In account settings, the 'Other' option is selected for 'Place a copy in' and the 'Fastmail.FM>Inbox>Sent Items' folder has been selected on the IMAP account. 2. Create a new message or reply in Thunderbird 3. Actual Results: The copy is saved in the default(Thunderbird) 'Sent' folder on the IMAP server. The 'Sent' folder is created if it does not exist on the IMAP account, then I have two folders, 'Sent' and 'Sent Items.' Expected Results: The copy should be saved to the existing 'Saved Items' folder.

I don't know why this bug was marked Fixed. "Fixed" is reserved for bugs where an actual change was made, and you should be able to point the patch. If the problem went away because you had the program misconfigured, the bug should be resolved Invalid. This is possibly a dupe of bug 206046.

Reporter, does the issue still occur with the latest supported 2.0.0.x / Shredder trunk nightlies? (1.5.0.x is now end-of-life and the latest supported Thunderbird version 2 is 2.0.0.16)
