User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10 The buttons for Uninstalling, Checking for Updates, and Applying the selected theme are of the old style (pinstripe?); the navigation toolbar's icons of those on the Windows version (winstripe?) on the latest Aviary build - for consistency, the newer style should be used there as well. Also, in the preview image of the theme, it displays the old style buttons in the image, versus the new style nav buttons. Should these block for 1.0mac? They seem petty in the big picture, but the little things are what will make this browser superior. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Tools -> Themes 2. Select Firefox (default) 3. Observe the buttons at the bottom, and the preview image. Actual Results: The buttons do not match the default theme, and the preview image does not match the default theme (nav buttons). Expected Results: The buttons should match the default theme (not sure what they look like on Windows, can they be stolen from there?), and the preview image should look like the default theme.
WFM They do match on the nightlies that i run perhaps this has already been resolved?
(In reply to comment #1) > WFM They do match on the nightlies that i run perhaps this has already been > resolved? I am pulling mine from here: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-0.9/ Posting screenshot.
I see this bug too. Mac OS X 10.3.5; Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10

I assume this was fixed on trunk by the branch landing.

the preview for the default theme has been fixed; the theme manager, however, still uses the old non-winstripe buttons (remove/update/apply)
I don't have a Mac. Please attach a new screenshot. These are the icons in use AFAICS: http://lxr.mozilla.org/seamonkey/source/toolkit/themes/pinstripe/mozapps/extensions/actionbuttons.png
you are correct, those are the action buttons that are being used. since the reload/back/forward buttons were changed to match on all platforms, it was my opinion that the action buttons should be updated on the mac platform to match the new artwork. it is purely cosmetic, but i could see some switchers wondering what the buttons do - you have to hover over them in their current state. perhaps something like the mostly crystal theme does?
I see. Maybe that will be fixed in the future. I'm limiting the summary of this bug to reflect what has actually been fixed: the preview image of the default theme.
Summary: the theme manager uses the old default buttons, and displays the old default layout in the preview → preview image of the default theme needs an update
