User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.2) Gecko/20040803 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.2) Gecko/20040803 When viewing the drop-down list of previously typed URL's in Mozilla, the vertical scroll-bar thinks it's selected (i.e. it thinks you're still left-clicking on it) when in fact it is not. This results in automatic scrolling of the URL list if you move your mouse up or down. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Press the downward arrow to expand the drop-down list of previously typed URL's in Mozilla. 2. Click and drag the scroll bar all the way down the the bottom of the field. Keeping the mouse button held down, move the mouse out of the URL list and on to the page somewhere. 3. Release the mouse button and move the mouse cursor in to the URL list. The entire list should scroll up and down according to where the mouse is within the list. Actual Results: The URL list scrolls with mouse movement. Expected Results: Unless this is intended behaviour, nothing should have happened. The scroll bar should be unselected when the mouse button is no longer held down. Using the 'classic' theme. Have not tried with the 'modern' theme. OS is Fedora Core 2, using an official Fedora build of Mozilla 1.7.2. This 'bug' doesnt appear to happen with the scroll bar of the main window.
I don't see this with my 1.8a4 self-build on RH7.3
