User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040616 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040616 This may be a duplicate of #238976 but that's about Firefox and this is Communicator. Basically if I close the browser with the window maximized, the window's old size is lost. Note, I'm running RH9 with Gnome. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open browser at a size not filling the whole screen 2. Click "maximize" control, so browser window fills the screen 3. Shut down the browser 4. Restart the browser (it opens still maximized, which is fine) 5. Click the "restore to normal size" control Actual Results: Window becomes non-maximized but still fills the whole screen. It needs to be resized manually to get back to normal size Expected Results: Remember the non-maximized size and restore it properly.

I was still seeing this the other day on one of my linux (KDE) systems, but ATM I don't remember which.
With linux SeaMonkey trunk build 2005100102, I see this with fluxbox WM but not metacity, so perhaps a WM bug. ==> gtk for now
