Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Firefox 2. Go to Tools/Options/Web Features and uncheck "Block Popup Windows" and click "OK". 3. Close Firefox. 4. Start Firefox again and look at the setting for popup blocking. The setting has the value checked although it was turned off. The popup blocker is on again after restart. Actual Results: Popup blocker is still running although previously turned off. Expected Results: Popup blocker should remain off and still be turned off after restarting Firefox.

I did do an uninstall of 0.9.3 (deleted program file folder also), then installed PR1, but I'm still using the same profile. The extensions I have are: IEView 0.81 (Disabled) DisctionarySearch 0.6.3 Sage 1.2.2 googlebar 0.9.0.16 (Disabled) Single Window 1.4 PRGoogleBar 0.9.0.24 I uninstalled googlebar 0.9.0.16 and still have the problem but have not tried removing other extensions or using a fresh new profile.
OK, I just did a full uninstall and removed all my old profile data from "Documents and Settings" in Windows. Did a reinstall of Firefox and used a totally new profile. I am not having this problem any more. Thank you for the help Kevin.

I've tracked the cause of this problem down to a conflict with the extension "Single Window 1.4". After my reinstall and seeing things were OK I started installing extensions again. And I noticed I was again having the problem again with the Popup Blocker. So I started removing extensions one by one and testing. Removing "Single Window 1.4" resolved the problem.
